For the love of Bread :)

Friday!! Yeay... Hopefully everyone has awesome weekend plans! I can't wait for mine to start and its soon after I get this out to you! So, please excuse me if its a little shorter today. ;) The sun is blazing, sweet breezes are ....breezing? laughing.. oh geeze, I'm not even going to go back and correct that. A little CHEESE with that bread isn't a bad thing, right?   :-)

We made the  Baguette's from Tuesday's demo today.  The reasoning behind it was to practice making an easy dough again.  We will need to have the 12 steps memorized by the time we do our practicals this coming Friday.  All we will have is a recipe at hand noting ingredients only.  In the beginning I was afraid I wouldn't do good on the practicals since we are not always hands on between 4 people, but the TEAM takes turns so we have each been able to do every part of the procedure.   

Today's bread came out amazing. Nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.  We got through it pretty quick.  We do spend a lot of our time just waiting as the bread takes it's sweet time fermenting ;). We don't mind though, the result always smells and tastes divine. All good things are worth waiting for. Well, at least most things are.  Fate takes care of the rest!
